| Details: | Ford Model A Roadster. This is a 1928 Ford Model A roadster. The body and fenders are all original metal. The running boards and hood are metal and are custom built. The engine is an Oldsmobile 4 cylinder with dual overhead cams. The engine has been professionally rebuilt from top to bottom. Carburetion is fed by twin Weber 45s and has MSD ignition. The Transmission is a 700-R4 and has also been completely rebuilt. It has a 9 Ford rear end. The custom frame was built by Classic Frames. The front brakes are disk and the rear is drum. The exhaust system is stainless steel. The roof bows are from the original car and have been rebuilt. The interior is gray fabric and naugahide. The upper and lower seats springs are from Glide. The paint is black Acrylic enamel. The custom 9 gallon gas tank is located in the truck. For your information, I have included a picture of the Model A in the condition prior to the restoration. As added information, the reason Im selling the car is that I have a new hobby which is restoring old speedway motorcycle and I need more room. |
