Details: With more than four million Model Aandrsquo;s produced from 1927 to 1931 they might not quite be as rare as some collector cars but their sheer ubiquitousness throughout the years has made them one of the most quintessential American cars of all time. And although they may not be as uncommon as other cars, demand for them has never waned and in the years that have spanned since their production many have been restored and built in so many different ways as to make each one as unique as they are iconic. This restored 1929 Ford Model A Roadster Pickup is powered by a 201ci inline 4-cylinder engine and three-speed manual transmission and although not numbers matching, the serial number on the engine block indicates that the engine was once rebuilt at Fordandrsquo;s Long Beach assembly plant, which closed in 1958, likely meaning it has been a California resident since that time. Repainted in a two-tone scheme of dark green with black fenders and running boards, the exterior of the Model A shows nicely and is complemented by an original Sparton horn, etched side glass, original Twolite headlights, and a flying quail radiator cap. Inside the interior, the seat and top have been redone in tan vinyl while the floor has been redone with stained oak that match oak planks and side rails in the redone bed. The truck rides on a set of Firestone 4.40/4.50-21 tires mounted on bright green original wire-spoke wheels, with a matching spare mounted on the driverandrsquo;s side running board and it is registered with a set of California Historical Vehicle license plates which also indicate that this Model A has been a longtime California resident and overall it is in wonderful shape with no rust or rot to speak of. This Model A is wonderful example of one of Americaandrsquo;s most beloved automobiles and it would be right at home in any garage anywhere.
