Details: Ford Coupe. Ford Racing 302 thats been dyno-tuned to an incredible 345 horsepower. At the top of that sturdy iron block, a polished air cleaner funnels wind into a coated Edelbrock carburetor and sturdy Edelbrock intake. Below that carburetor, aluminum GT-40 heads seat Ford Racing roller rockers under attractive Roush valve covers and a small KandN breather. Below those heads, a hydraulic cam, forged pistons, forged steel connecting rods and a forged steel crank transform 9 to 1 compression into a beautiful small block symphony thats roared through short, ceramic coated headers. At the front of that cam, an MSD Pro-Billet distributor sequences spark between Painless wiring, an MSD 6AL ignition, an MSD Blaster 2 coil and 9mm Roush plug wires. Charge comes courtesy of an attractive Billet Specialties Tru Trac system, which spins a chrome Powermaster alternator next to a chrome Vintage Air compressor. And cooling is provided by a 2-core Griffin radiator thats fitted with a big electric puller fan. As with any expertly built custom, the cars engine bay is fully sorted and ready to go. And the sweet small block looks right at home between a fully finished hood and glossy American Stamping frame rails. With its exceptionally high power to weight ratio, completely modern components and custom dropped chassis, this Ford is an absolute blast to drive! Behind the hot small block, a fresh Performance Automatic AOD twists torque through a 2,400 RPM stall converter and fresh Dennys driveshaft. At the end of that driveshaft, a rugged Ford 9-inch spins a new limited slip differential around new 3.70 gears. That proven rear end, concealed under a simulated quick change cover, funnels power to a modern, 4-link suspension thats fitted with adjustable coil-over-shocks. That fully sorted 4-bar drives a Total Cost Involved front half thats comprised of tubular control arms, adjustable Aldan coil-overs and manual rack and pinion steering. At the corners of the car, manual Wilwood calipers, six pistons up front and four pistons out back, squeeze large drilled and slotted rotors. On the outside of those rotors, forged and striped BBS wheels wear 245/35ZR18 Goodyear Eagle F1s in front of 275/35ZR19 Goodyear Eagle F1s. Between those tires, the aforementioned headers jettison spent gases through professionally installed pipes and welded Imco mufflers. And everything from this coupes remote transmission cooler to its modern Edelbrock fuel pump is functional, solid and ready for prime time for more pitcures and info please call Brian Lycliter 8143212215
