Beautifully restored 1933 Worthington Golf Course Tractor equipped with a 1929 Worthington Mower Company cutting unit.Manufactured by the Worthington Mower Company, Stroudsburg, PA. The probable number built is 59, leaving few existing, making this a rare example. Evolving from the Model A, the Worthington Model B was introduced in 1933 and built through 1939. This is serial number B1001, meaning this is the second tractor off the first production line of this model, which makes it a wonderful historical piece for someone collecting either Ford or Worthington Mower Company pieces. The fairway cutting unit is also an important historical piece, as the design of these units was extremely crucial to a greens keeper. Each of the wheels of a cutting unit had its own gear train, so when cornering, one wheel turns faster than the other, essentially preventing damage to the turf. The Worthington Mower Company strived to be the best manufacturers of greens keeping equipment. It is a pleasure to drive for men and women alike, a privilege to own and will now be released from a private collection and is for sale. Please contact us for more information if you would like to own this piece of history.
