Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1935 Hillman Minx, a very attractive driver in two-tone gold and black. Panels are straight with good gaps; bumpers, grille, trim and glass are in very good condition; brand new Firestone whitewall tires on wire wheels. Interior shows well with door panels, carpet, headliner and seat upholstery all in nice shape. Fold-out windshield with working electric wipers; all lights also work properly. Typical surface rust and grime underneath, but zero known structural rust. The 1185 cc (1.2 liter) four-cylinder engine makes a whopping 30 horsepower; it starts easily and runs well, and thanks to the four-speed manual transmission, you can actually drive it around town. The 1935 Minx was the first mass-produced car to feature a fully-synchronized transmission with synchromesh in all forward gears. Clutch, gearbox, steering and brakes all feel as they should. We believe this to be the only pre-war Hillman currently for sale in the U.S. For more information about this 1935 Hillman Minx for sale at Motorcar Studio in Atlanta, please call 404-692-5250.
