| Details: | 1936 Ford Deluxe Coupe five window. All steel body, fenders, running boards etc, no fiberglass parts anywhere. Car was a barn find and underwent a careful remodel with the intent to keep much of the original flavor intact. Lots of photos of before and after available as well as full receipts for all the work invested in this classic Ford. This Model 68 Deluxe has restored mechanical brakes, rebuilt three speed and the torque tube rear drive. The Washington blue paint is as found with the exception of being color sanded and polished. The interior and rumble seat area were fully replaced due to the years of damage from rodents and fully lined with both sound and heat barrier. The interior is ivory with champane carpet. The 8BA flathead underwent a rebuild and restoration as well as the coupes chasiss. The car has been converted to 12v and the entire wiring harness replaced throughout. It has the original tube radio installed and retains most of the original knobs, door handles and roll ups. The steering column has been replaced with a Ididit unit and Vega steering box. The original parts also go with the car as well as a number of spares. The Ford drives very nice and will run 55- 60 mph on the freeway with no effort. It is also a multiple trophey winner at many of the local events. |
