This beautiful 1936 Ford 5-Window Coupe was made from a forty-thousand mile 100% rust-free Albany OR car. Oregon has never salted its roads or highways. The frame and body are completely original and there are no (zero) patch panels. This 36 is an “All-Steel car including the Fenders and running boards—just as Henry designed and made it 81 years ago.Henry was wrong about the color and it was repainted Medium Red Cedar Metallic a Cadillac color. There is no sign of bubbling of the paint and the paint is deep and glossy “as new�? and was professionally applied. Painted Magenta Ghost Flames were professionally applied by seasoned pin-striper custom ghost flame artist at a cost of $1800.00. The car was built by an Albany OR Mechanical and Structure Engineer for Wah-Chang Corporation so all of the measurements are precise and accurate.If paint is later needed for any reason new technology provide the exact color mixing ingredients by touching the painted surface with the scope/readerThe original wood-framed painted canvas roof covering was removed and the remaining roof hole was filled with smooth steel. The trunk-mounted spare tire and mounting bracket was removed the depression in the trunk lit was cut-out and replaced with smooth steel just as the roof had been. The 36 goose-neck taillights were removed and replaced with recessed 1940 Ford Blue Dot taillights. The work was professionally done and there is no hint that it was not always that way.
