The original Ford frame has been strengthened with an X member and it utilizes a Heidt Mustang independent front end. The rear is leaf spring on a Ford 9 inch 3:50 posi rear axle. Power is provided by a Ford 400M engine with an Edelbrock intake and 4BBL carb. It is running a RV K kit cam, Mallory ignition, and Sanderson headers. Dyno tested at 296 HP. The transmission is a Ford AOD 4 speed with cooler. The leather interior features power steering, brakes, windows and seats. Climate control is Vintage heat and AC. The fully upholstered trunk conceals the Custom Auto Sound AM/FM stereo. Auxiliary inputs for a CD player and a USB are provided. The paint is DuPont Hot Poppy and really pops. A subtle blue pinstripe divides the two colors. The rear lighting is led, and the front headlights are halogen. The wide whitewall radials are like new.
