| Details: | Ford Coupe Deluxe. Beautiful Old School survivor. Just hauled this out of storage few weeks ago from an estate. Did the following: cleaned and drained tank and lines, installed new carb. new thermostat and coolant, new battery, new Petronix distributor, coil and wires, new plugs, new calipers, hoses, pads, brand new tires and wheels, changed oil and filter, detailed and polished by a professional. Small block Chevy (283 or 327?) with nice cam, sounds awesome. lots of chrome/billet alum. with automatic (power glide), chevy rear with leaf springs and air shocks. original straight axle with disk brakes on the front. I have drove the car over a hundred miles so far with no issues, doesnt smoke, shifts good, runs good. All steel body. straight no signs of any rust ever, paint is very high gloss, I am amazed by the quality of the paint and body work. nosed and decked. has a stereo system in glove box, 4 speakers, frenched power antenna etc. after market gages below dash oil, temp, volt, all work. lights, signals, brake lights, horn etc. work. Great Southern car at a great price. |
