1940 cheverolet master deluxe 2 dr sedan Classic 1940 Chevy with only 36xxx miles!! 74 yrs old w/super low miles, I am 4th owner. This is superb condition, zero rust., had a respray in 1975, chrome in perfect condition, underneath the car is superb as well, the last owner was a car nut who passed away last august as he had several Chevys....all were in this condition. Known history: a nurse bought it for her husband new in Colorado Springs, husband dies few years later, she doesnt drive, puts it on blocks in garage and it sits.... eventually a car nut/collector buys it ( have name someone) and keeps it until its sold to the guy I got it from, in 1972. 216ci straight six cylinder, 3 spd on the column, lots of dealer options on this one. Green exterior, tan interior: car seat covers( have the options book to show you they are original), Traffic light finder, defroster fan, super deluxe heater and defroster, clock, passenger sunvisor and windshield wiper, fog lights, front and rear bumper guards and rail, trunk handle guard, trumpet horns, wind wings for vent window, windshield sunshade, reverse lights, mirror/service schedule, rear view mirror glare visor, turn signals and control,4.11 gear rear ratio, front radiator cover for winter, ash tray receiver (haha thats what they called it). Last owner did add another button for the horn since the original wasnt working for some reason I presume, it seems Chevysofthe40s.com has all the components needed. This did not come with a radio but I have one that needs restoring that I may throw in. Have owners manual, repair manual, and dealer accessory book. Ivory knob broke on the shifter so I have a replacement on the way. As far as I can tell it needs nothing, so theres no need for hunting down hard to find parts.,this is a collector condition grade car it seems w/ NO rust. Original interior, everything is in great shape.
