| Details: | 1940 Ford Deluxe Coupe with Standard grill, I like it that way. This is one of the last 40 Fords that came out of Laprades Old Country cars in Georgia. I had them put the standard grill on and paint the fenders black. Then I gave it the traditional Hotrod look. Dropped axle, buggy spring front and rear. Rebuilt 292 Y block with Isky cam, Offenhauser intake and valve covers, new Strombergs, and Mallory dual point. S-10 5 speed with open drive shaft and banjo rear. Ne aluminum radiator, and oversize gas tank. New EZ wiring harness, all lights, signals, electric fan, heater and defrosterwork as they should.She runs straight down the road at 70 with now problem, you can drive her anywhere. The best thing about this car is it sounds fantastic, and most people have no idea what the engine is when you open the hood. I purchased a new home and need to put up a building, the only reason she is up for sale. |
