1947 Chevrolet Fleetmaster 2 dr. sedan, Very original three owner Texas car. Bought new at Parker Chevrolet in Fairfield Texas by Fred Davis. Sold to my aunt Mrs. A.L. Cameron in 1960. She drove the car until 1990 and parked it under a carport where it sat until I bought it in 2006. The car was amazingly complete and the only rust was inthe trunk floor. The car was restored over a period of about two years with the restoration including:
The car retains its original 6 volt system, original starter, original generator, original oil bath air cleaner. and cartridge oil filter. All of the gauges work including the clock and the vintage tube type radio. The interior is not the original mohair but was selected to look period correct. If youre interested in having a best of the best show car, this one isnt it. However if you want to make it into a best of the best, you wont find a better starting point.
