1948 Austin Pro Street Pickup. Finished in beautiful PPG Jet Black paint with custom flames accented by a clean Black interior. This truck features a steel Austin of England A40 Pickup truck cab with a shaved drip rail and narrowed Ford step side bed sitting on a custom Willys Unlimited Chassis. It is powered by a massive 468CI Big Block Chevy V8 engine with LS7 ported and polished heads, 575 lift Comp Cam, Weiand tunnel ram intake manifold dressed with twin Edelbrock 650CFM 4 barrel carburetors. All of the shifting is done by a TH 400 automatic transmission with a TCI 3400rpm stall converter, BandM shift kit, TCI trans cooler, and a Genie shifter. The power is put to the ground thanks to a narrowed Ford 9in rear with 4 link setup and 4.10 positraction gears. Other features include rack and pinion steering, front disc brakes, line lock kit, power windows, BMW seats, Auto meter gauges and Cragar Drag star wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson Sportsman tires. It took many years to bring this truck to the condition you see it in today and we have a book of pictures as well as receipts documenting the build.
