1949 Willys-Overland 4 Wheel Drive Pickup; mileage shown is believed to be correct, although speedometer does not work. Purchased from a local, private party that had a full body-off restoration. No rust; new paint job; no plastic. Believed to have been owned and driven only in Texas. Equipped with a newer, rebuilt, 6 cyclinder Super Hurricane engine. New or rebuilt radiator, gas tank, clutch, braking system, and steering, to name a few. Electrical system has been converted to a 12 volt system; new exhaust. New Super Swamper 16 inch tires and wheels. Texas safety inspection this past year. Starts and runs/drives very well, especially considering this fine Willys example is 68 years old! |
