This vehicle also features a recently rebuilt Flathead V8, 239 engine, correct for the car. Ive been told matching numbers,engine was recently bolted into the car to facilitate shipping - with no miles on it. The Overdrive transmission has also been rebuilt. Smithy exhaust, new in box. I have done my best to describe this car because I want the purchaser to be happy, but if your interest is serious, I encourage an inspection, at your expense, prior to purchase. I am going by what third party car restorers are telling me for some details as I am not a car expert, however I have gone to great lengths to research and learn as much as possible. I have sold several of his other cars and the buyers are always happy with them. My father has a reputation for taking very good care of his vehicles and restoring autos to original condition.Sale is only due to owners health. He is aretired Air Force Veteran who had aserious injury that halted his work on this project and Alzheimers prevents him from finishing it. This exceptional Texas car isalways garaged in a commercial building and notsmoked in.Very straight body shows nosigns of rust or previous damage. The owners cars are always lovingly restored to original condition with quality, authentic parts.
