Chevy Styleline Deluxe Convertible. One of the slickest looking Chevy models ever made was the 1951 Styleline Deluxe Convertible. The open air freedom and classic convertible feel of six decades ago remains, but this sweet ride has been updated with modern small block V8 power and rides low on big Billet Specialties rims to give it a slippery contemporary profile. This is the kind of car you can get in, turn up the sound system and cruise anywhere you want to go. It is solid, dependable and economical and it gets loads of attention at any gathering of car lovers. This Bowtie is finished in a striking light blue metallic hue with a glistening white top. It recently received a transfusion in the form of a new 350 CID V8 and freshly rebuilt TH350 transmission. There is approximately 3400 miles on the new drive train. The Mustang II independent front suspension is also new with power steering and disk brakes. Not only does it look great, the car purrs like a contented cat, and drives along at freeway speeds without guzzling much gas. The engine is fitted with an aluminum intake manifold and 650 cfm Edelbrock AFB carburetor, and ramhorn cast iron exhaust headers. A fat aluminum radiator with dual electric fans ensures the car runs cool under all conditions. Heres all the cool stuff about this car: The body and paint are flawless. The cabin is upholstered in leatherette with new carpeting. The interior bling is beautiful as are the bumpers, grille and exterior trim. Excellent glass and rubber and a Sony sound system pumps out those oldies and goodies while you cruise the drag in this sweet droptop. A new air conditioning system with serpentine belt drive comes with this car, but is not installed. The undercarriage is as clean as any driven car can be, and the aluminized exhaust system is tight and rumbles beautifully as you ride along. So, there you have it.
