This is a beautiful 1951 Plymouth Belvedere period perfect mild custom. It runs, looks and drives great. In addition to being a unique two-door hardtop model (1951 was the first year for a Plymouth 2-door hardtop and not many remain, particularly in this condition), this car has numerous custom features, including: 1) shaved door handles with remote entry, 2) shaved and modified fuel filler, 3) power antenna and am-fm radio/tape player located in the glove box, 4) very comfortable and attractive interior upholstery (seats, all panels, headliner) and carpet along with finished trunk, 4) 2” drop all around to give that “right look” (while the rear utilizes lowering blocks, it also has air shocks to adjust the ride when needed).Power is provided by a stock flat head 6 cylinder (217) engine that features a split manifold with dual exhausts running through the traditionally good sounding Smithy mufflers. The transmission is a manual 3 speed (3 on the tree). While it is no issue when driving during the normal driving season, the heater may need some repair if driven in inclement/cold weather. Still, it remains a great car and a tremendous buy. This car has a 12 volt electrical system and features under-car neon lighting. It rides on 15” radial, wide-whitewall tires with custom wheel covers. It has been a consistent trophy winner, including People’s Choice. *Mileage indicated reflects what is shown on odometer. Unlikely actual vehicle mileage; however, less than 5,000 miles on rebuilt engine.
