1952 Dodge Wayfarer. It was purchased from the south by an old man in the 80s. He parked it in a barn for over 20 years. When I purchased it from him I had brought a fresh 6 volt battery, Fresh gas, and an oil change. Installed said items and the Flathead 6 cylinder engine sat there and purred like a kitten. This Vehicle is now used as my around town daily driver. The engine runs smooth and the transmission ( either a 3 speed with the clutch or put it in third and drive it like an auto ) shifts smoothly through all the gears. Great running Engine runs smooth no noises Transmission Shifts smooth through all the gears with no problems Clutch works great and has a lot of pedal Brakes work great Headlights, brake lights, and blinkers work Volt meter, oil pressure, speedometer all work Horn works Clock works occasionally Windows roll up and down smoothly All glass is there and not cracked in good condition Brand new Mastercraft tires Brand new Crager wheels Solid frame and trunk are absolutely rust free Very solid Car overall The body only has surface rust and has AWESOME patina Runs and drives down the road straight Believed to have 82650 original miles as the speedometer still works! Most of the trim pieces for the vehicle are in the trunk The Fuel Gauge does not work There is a small rust hole in the passenger floor pan inside top rocker on the passenger side as a little rust Needs a headliner this is an over all great original car, Runs perfect and draws tons of attention at all the local car shows and every where I go on my daily commute.
