Beautiful, concours-ready 1953 Buick Skylark in its original paint color of Matador Red! This magnificient car received a complete restoration, beginning in 2011 and completed in 2014. Award-winner at the 2013 Hemmings Concours! This car is number 6 of 1,690 produced for the 1953 Skylark model year. There is only one known existing 1953 Skylark with a lower production number. Features include 322 cubic inch Fireball V8 motor, 188 hp, Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels, Selectronic AM radio, Twin Turbine Dynaflow 2-speed automatic transmission, power steering and power windows. This vehicle remained in the same family until I purchased it from them in 2011 and began the restoration project. All receipts from the restoration will be included in the sell of the car. |
