Outstanding Provenance.

This Cadillac has been loved and maintained in Norwalk Ohio since new.

Only three owners with one family ownership for 60 years.

Early in 1955 Mr. B.P. Newton of Norwalk Ohio ordered a new Cadillac Coupe deVille. Mr. Newton was a Gulf Oil Executive, Gentleman Farmer and Philanthropist. During his time with Gulf Oil he traveled the world bringing home souvenirs of glass and fine art for his beloved wife Edna Roe Newton. The Newtons donated their collection of art glass and other fine objects to The Milan Museum in Milan Ohio. The Newtons also donated funds to build the Newton Arts Gallery on the museum grounds to house the collection. On February 17 1955 Mr. Newton took Delivery of his brand new Coupe deVille from Ebert andamp; Son Motor Sales in Norwalk Ohio. Mr. Newton enjoyed his Cadillac for a year before trading it towards a new model. Mr. Newtons friend Mr. Walter Conway owner of Norwalk Parts had been admiring the Deep Cherry Cadillac since Mr. Newton had taken delivery. Upon learning the Cadillac was available Mr. Conway wasted no time in purchasing it. Being the owner of one of the finest auto parts stores in northern Ohio Mr. Conway made sure his Cadillac always had the finest care. Always garaged and never used in inclement weather. Walter enjoyed his car until his passing in 1967 when stewardship of the Coupe deVille passed to his son Ken. Ken Conway was also very fond of his Fatherandrsquo;s Cadillac and he would keep and maintain the car until 2016 when circumstances dictated a new caretaker be found.
