| Details: | 1955 Chevrolet 210 Delray. 2 door post body with an extremely clean body. Paint was done a couple years ago and looks pretty good, but is not 100% perfect. Engine is the original 235 I6 that runs well and is driven to cruise ins and car shows weekly. The original three on the tree manual transmission was replaced with a T5 (5 speed) overdrive transmission this year. Original 3 speed over drive trans is included. Front suspension was replaced with new tubular arms and lowered springs from CPP and the steering components were all replaced with new pieces from Ecklers. The original manual steering box was replaced with a power unit from CPP and mated to a chrome tilt column. The original 4.11:1 third member was replaced with a fresh rebuilt 3.36:1 third member when the transmission swap was done. Original 4.11:1 third member is included. The taller rear gears and the overdrive makes the car cruise nicely at 75 to 80 down the highway. The car was also converted to power 4 wheel disc brakes with a functioning e-brake. The interior is the original interior it left the factory with. There is a rip in the drivers section of the front seat and the lower kick panels under the dash need to be replaced. Billet dash trim was installed and fitted with a new Pioneer stereo with full Bluetooth phone connectivity. Tires are like new BFG wide whites on new baby moons. Trunk is solid, even in the spare tire well. Exhaust has a pair of Fenton headers fitted to true dual exhaust with Flowmasters. |
