1955 Studebaker Go Kart (IL) - $23,900Exterior Yellow WhiteInterior Yellow Vinyl1955 Riverview Amusement Park gas Go-Kart. This is one of two remaining gas go-karts from the ride at Riverview in Chicago IL. circa 1955 to 1967. The other 48 karts were destroyed in a barn fire in western Illinois some years ago. This kart has been professionally restored and is in excellent running condition with the original Kohler motor. The chassis was built by Studebaker while the glass body was fabricated by the Corvette division of GM. The kart uses a centrifugal clutch with chain drive. Brakes are power vacuum assisted on the right rear wheel. Tires are original with new inner tubes. Care has been taken to retain the original build with the exception of the dated decals on the front of the kart. Drive it for fun or just show it off.
