1956 DODGE MAYFAIR THIS IS JUST LIKE 1956 PLYMOUTH BELVEDERE WITH BETTER OPTIONS The Dodge Mayfair was an automobile built by Chrysler Corporation of Canada Ltd. This vehicle was produced solely for the Canadian market from 1953 to 1959. Its American equivalent was the Plymouth Belvedere. It was based on the Plymouth, a vehicle that Chrysler of Canada had been offering since 1935 and Chrysler in Detroit started offering in export markets in 1936. The car has a 318 mopar engine, automatic transmission, push button on dash, new 4 barrel carburetor w/dual exhaust. The engine is very healthy and runs strong. The transmission shifts as it should through all gears. This Dodge is a great driver quality car, runs drives and stops great. Exterior The exterior on this 2 door hardtop looks very presentable although not perfect. If you look very closely you will see some paint imperfections but nothing major. The body is very solid and straight. All glass in nice and the chrome is presentable. Interior The interior is very neat and clean. The seats, door panels, headliner are all in great condition.
