This car has been the recipient of a recent mechanical recommisioning, having had it's cylinder head and carburetors recently rebuilt, fuel tank restored, it's Petronix ignition system replaced, brake lines replaced, and brake master cylinder re-sleeved. This XK140MC is ready to be driven and enjoyed. It is believed to have had only four owners from new, and is coming out of a 45-year long ownership by a single family, having been passed from father to son. The car remains in driver-quality cosmetic condition, having received a repaint to silver from it's original black approximately two decades ago. The interior remains in it's original shade of red, though the seats were reupholstered in red vinyl at some point in time, likely when the modern sound system was added as well.
