1956 Lincoln Premiere Convertible Chassis No. 56LA8457L This 1956 Lincoln Premier Convertible was the 195th car built and has been restored in its original exterior and interior colors. Options on this vehicle include power windows, power antenna, Town and Country radio, power seats and a unique angled dealer option continental kit. The history of the Premiere dates back to 1967 when Mr. Henry Ricci of Seattle, Washington purchased the automobile from the original owner. The automobile was subsequently sold by the Ricci Estate to Mr. Larry Kamuso, a collector of Fords and Oldsmobiles in Los Angeles. A year later, the car was sold to a Mr. Steve Price of Springfield, Virginia. Mr. Price commissioned a complete frame-off restoration for the Premiere, which included a total engine and drivetrain rebuild. He held onto the car for two years, driving it sparingly. In 2004, he sold the car in Hershey, Pennsylvania at the AACA auction to Mr. Bob Pittman, who invested in some additional electrical work, as well as refurbishing the dash and convertible top mechanism. The Premiere was shown at an LCOC event in Scottsdale, AZ in 2006, where it scored 98/100. Today the Premiere Convertible drives wonderfully, every system not only looks new, but works as it did the day it came off the assembly line. |
