| Details: | If you are looking for a frame-off restored vehicle, keep looking, this isnt it. If you are looking for an honest original car that has survived basically intact for over 60 years, stop and take a look. These photos tell the story. Inspection stickers from 1965 and 1970 along with the college parking sticker on the rear bumper suggest the car may have been driven by a college student at one time. The condition of the interior suggests the car was used lightly before it went off to college and that it was probably cared for by a female student. Where the car has been for the following 40+ years is a mystery, but it was certainly kept inside away from the weather and from rodents who would have destroyed the interior had they had access. The engine starts easily and the PowerFlite transmission shifts smoothly. This car is a 20-footer. From 20 feet away, it is gorgeous. From closer up, it begins to reveal its age. I believe most of the paint is original, but there are places where you can tell touchup paint was used. The floor pan is solid and you can see pix of the body mounts which are intact. This is a very nice car to drive, show, and enjoy just as it is. Only once in 16 years have I seen another 56 Plymouth at a local show. I will be happy to answer your questions about the car.
