Austin Healey was a British sports car maker established in 1952 through a joint venture between Austin division of British Motor Corporation and Donald Healey Motor Company, a renowned automotive engineering and design firm. The Austin Healey 100-6 is a two seat roadster produced by Austin Healey from 1957 to 1959. The 100-6 featured a 2 in longer wheelbase than the 100, a more powerful straight six engine in place of a 4 cylinder, and added two seats. The body lines were slightly streamlined, a smaller, wider radiator grille placed lower, an air scoop was added to the bonnet, and the windscreen fixed. Only 14,436 100-6s were produced before production ended in 1959. This example was frame up restored a few years ago and used very sparingly since. It features chrome wire wheels, four speed with factory overdrive, tonneau cover, badge bar, Lucas fog lights, top, and side curtains. It is finished in most handsome British racing green with black leather seating. The car has been well sorted recently serviced by us and drives as new.
