STK 2137 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air There is a book titled All Corvettes are Red. Someone should write another and title it All 57 Chevy BelAirs are Black. It is the right color. The designer of this particular work of art knew exactly how to paint the canvas. This outstanding frame-off restoration was completed for the current ownerand#44; who has owned the car for the last 33 years. The black finish is exemplaryand#44; the chrome flawless and the interior stunning. From any angleand#44; the lines of the classic 57 BelAir are better than exellent. This BelAir sits just a little lower than the original with period-correct Chevy Rally wheels and red-line tires. Insideand#44; the black leather interior is striking. The bucket seat configuration with console looks like a factory design and the leatherwork is faultless. The original BelAir steering wheel has been replaced with a Z-28 wheel and a full set of custom analogue gauges are mounted in the original dash. Enjoy the ride with A/Cand#44; tinted power windowsand#44; tilt wheeland#44; power driver seat and AM/FM/CD/Changer stereo. Under the hood is a new RamJet/350/350 Fuel Injected crate motor along with a crate 700R automatic. As we said beforeand#44; this 57 looks good from any angleand#44; even from below.
