A client of ours has asked us to help sell their 1958 Chevrolet Apache 3204 andfrac12; ton Step-side. They are the 2nd owners and purchased it from the original owner, a 90 yr old University Professor. The truck has 56,000 miles on the original 6 cyl/ engine, and 3 speed transmission. They have all service records, original operators manual, and the original purchase invoice from 1958! There is a new wood bed, new rubber floor mats, and it comes with new tires, chrome rims and original moon caps. They have all 5 original wheels and 4 hubcaps. They even have one of the original headlamps. The car was repainted by the 1st owner in 1984 in the factory 705A color (teal). The truck runs excellent and is very dependable. All numbers from the factory indicate this drivetrain is correct. Having bought the truck from the original owner, theres no reason to believe otherwise. There were small rust areas on the passenger side as well as driver side floor pans, of which the owner took care of personally. These areas were done well enough to stop the rust from growing, and to keep water from entering again. Any new owner might consider redoing them with a more permanent and attractive method.The engine was professionally rebuilt locally, about 7 years ago. The current owner has put roughly 3,000 miles on it since then. The manual transmission, 3 on the tree, is in great shape. Must see to appreciate!
