The car has a build date of January 1958. It is finished in its original factory colors of charcoal with silver coves and signet red interior. The car has just undergone a comprehensive on frame mechanical and cosmetic restoration. The car is an original fuel injected model from the factory which now has a NOM 283 carburated engine. The car was sanded to the bare fiberglass, primed, gel coated, and painted with Dupont base coat clear coat finish in its original colors to show condition. When the car was taken down to fiberglass, the original charcoal inscription was found in the trunk indicating it was an original charcoal car. The interior was completely restored with new Al Knock interior components on the dash pad, seats, top, carpet and door panels. The rear end, brakes, transmission, steering box and front suspension has been rebuilt. It is optioned with rare power windows, rare factory power assisted top, powerglide transmission, heater, wonderbar radio, courtesy light, bias ply white wall BF Goodrich Silvertown tires, and silver cove. All of the stainless has been polished to a high luster and the chrome is in excellent condition throughout. The power top mechanism was totally gone through and new cylinders and switches were installed. The power top mechanism works flawlessly.
