Details: 1958 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud 1. Left hand drive. LADY JANE

THIS IS A REAL GEM. An exceptional car in show condition. Not necessarily the Pebble Beach Concourse, but very presentable. Everything about the car is correct and in excellent condition.

.The exterior paint is original except for minor touch ups here and there. A tan pinstripe nicely sets off the Embassy Black body. Combining this with the rich Camel color of the Connelly English leather interior and perfect English Walnut trim, and it is truly a stunning combination.

. Mechanically the car is sound. The straight Six cylinder engine and Borg Warner four speed

transmission run smoothly. The engine burns very little oil. The valves and rings have been replaced. complete set of original tools and bulbs.

. The headliner, carpets and leather were replaced with original materials several years ago. The wonderful aromas still linger. The fit and finish are excellent.

HISTORY of LADY JANE: She was delivered to an insurance company CEO in Montreal in 1958. After 7,000 miles he transported her to his winter home in Arizona. In 1978 he gifted the car to his nephew in Southern California. He sold it to my wife and me privately in Feb. 1980. We drove her up to Portland, Or. (her longest trip ever) She had 114,000 miles at that time. We have had thirty seven years of pure enjoyment with this fine automobile. Total mileage is 126800.

Over the years we have done work on the brakes from time to time and various other minor repairs and general maintenance. But, nothing major. This was the last year ROLLS-ROYCE put the straight six cylinder engine in the CLOUD series. Later cars in the Cloud series had all the power assists; power seat adjustment, power windows, power steering, air conditioning along with a much more complex eight cylinder engine. These amenities can become a nightmare when a car reaches more than fifty years. I have always been very happy to have a very straightforward uncomplicated car without probable electronic problems.

Lady Jane has aged handsomely because she has always been properly garaged. Not driven in foul weather. Never hired out for any sort of event. As I approach eighty, we believe it is time to find a good new home for our wonderful friend.
