1960 Austin-Healey 3000 for sale

The owners decided to start their own restoration on the car in their garage in Oxnardand#44; California back in 1976. But that was before life got in the way. A year laterand#44; children came along and that brought the notion of free time to a halt. Before anyone knew itand#44; almost four decades had passed. Children had children of their own and the big Healey watched as time flew by.

Kurt Tannerand#44; a renowned Austin Healey restorer and curator came across this carand#44; still sitting in the same Oxnard garage five years ago. He bought the car immediately.

The body was straightand#44; accident freeand#44; rust freeand#44; and in fantastic overall condition because of the dry California climate. The parts were completeand#44; sortedand#44; and – amazingly – all there. These were not cheap reproduction parts or junk but nice original pieces. Kurts restorations are well known for being top tier and setting world records when auctioned. This car was his last restoration and one of our very particular collectors picked up up.
