A wonderful car to drive. It performs very well from back country roads to the interstates. It has two period correct modifications, side air vents on the front fenders(see photos) and the front grill has missing bars for better air flow(included is the correct original grill with 3000 badge). With the optional fiberglass top, the car has that great rally/race look. List of other details: a total restoration, 2+2 BTandamp; (MarkI), 10,825 produced, engine size is a 2912cc with twin SUs, Girling front disc brakes with rear drums, 72 spoke chrome wire wheels, 4 speed with overdrive, adjustable steering column, detachable hard top, two tone paint optional. This Healey was part of the Ed Schoenthaler Collection. Ed has a wonderful collection. One of his cars just won Best of Show at the 2015 Amelia Island Concours(29 Brooks Steven Cord L29). |
