1961 Chevrolet C10 Removed fuel tank, just a gunky fuel and a little surface corrosion. Sloshed some phosphoric acid in it, let it sit for a while, then power washed it out. Saved the old padding, it is in nice shape just in a few pieces, glued it back in place, See pics. New fuel line to pump and carb. with filter and see if pump isĀ good. Then work on generator and belt. Chevy c10 pickup, Fleetside, swb, 1/2 ton. Got it started, runs, moves back and forth. Will install gen and belt, and see how she drives. (Price is getting firmer) Front end has been converted to disc brakes, 5 bolt lug pattern. Has the rust issues. Does not have correct hood. Still has original steering column and wheel, seat LOOKS original Short wheel base is getting hard to find, big back window harder yet. Wired up the engine it starts and runs on gas dumped in carburetor. Generator missing, fuel tank cleaned and reinstalled, pretty nice tank inside and out.
