This is a very rare Lancer Model 770 2-Door Hardtop with only 37,366 actual miles. Other than an older repaint, the car is mostly original and has an all original interior which is as close to new as possible with the exception of the package tray, which is showing its age. The tires have been replaced. It retains all of its original glass with original stampings. The engine is 170ci Slant Six with a 3-speed push-button automatic transmission. Original features include tinted glass, padded dash, variable speed wipers, radio, heater and back up lights. The previous owners were very picky and pretty much went completely through the car and replaced, within the last 20 miles, the following with new OEM parts: wiper blades, rotor, distributor cap, plugs, points, spark plug wires, carburetor, carburetor linkage insulator, fuel pump, water pump, radiator hose (upper and lower), heater hose, bypass hose, thermostat, radiator cap, fan belt, rebuilt original radiator, cleaned out heater core, hood emblem, front parking light rings, right side mirror, visor mirror, original style battery, battery cables, fuel filter, rubber gas lines, air filter and correct wheel covers. It is amazing that the previous owners were able to find all the correct parts for this car. All items listed have been completed in the last 11 miles. The car runs, drives, starts and stops just as it should. It is a pleasure to cruise around in.

The car overall is in excellent show condition and has never had rust or any panels replaced. It had one older repaint that does show some aging, but is still more then presentable. I would not do anything with the paint; it still looks very good and has a nice shine and probably will continue to look good for another 15 years. 1961 Dodge Lancer 2-Door Hardtop
