| Details: | 1961 Mercury Comet 2 door hardtop projcet car. Ive done a lot of work to get it going and it is almost there but just needs to get things back together. It has auto transmission, 170 straight six engine. Below is a list of new parts installed. New upholstery front and back New fuel tank New fuel pump New magneto New water pump New carburetor New headliner ( still in the box ) New form fit carpet ( still in the box ) New carpet padding ( still in the box ) I also have numerous other lenses and mirrors and such that are ready to be installed. I put in new points and condensor and it fires right up. The body is straight with no known wrecks. There are about three small hail dings on it but with this thick metal you can heat up around the ding and theyll pop out easy. There is minor rust at the front bottom of both doors and at the very top of both rear wheel wells. |
