This corvette was bought in 1998 from an ad placed in the Wall Street Journal from a man that won it in the Saint Bernard Classic Corvette Raffle in Rockport Indiana. It was previously purchased from ProTeam Corvette in Napoleon, Ohio.Engine is fuel injected 327, 4 speed. Since purchasing the car 18 years ago the current owner has added 700 miles. All original stock to current owners knowledge except it has real wire wheels. The car has been kept in a temperature controlled (cooled and heated) garage with battery placed on trickle charge. The story the current owner was told about who owned the car before it was sold to ProTeam Corvette: It was owned by a man that dreamed of winning a Louisville Car show but he died of cancer before he finished restoring it. His friends finished the restoration. The car did win the car show in 1990 or 1991. |
