Chevy Impala SS Hardtop. Sport Coupe. This exquisite Impala was produced on the St. Louis assembly line in 1962, but 50 years later, it was reproduced, and made much better - a custom restomod ride that is a constant best of show winner. This is a Cinderella car. A stock Impala sport coupe, one of nearly 200,000 to roll off the assembly lines, was transformed through a frame-off makeover to become a one of a kind Belle of the Ball. Sporting a dazzling House of Kolors tangerine pearl exterior finish and airbrushed trim detail, this ride is genuine eye candy. The classic styling is carefully balanced with modern dependability, making this automobile not only a mobile cultural icon, but also a safe, reliable mode of transportation. Inside, a tastefully detailed and sculpted, rich cream interior, highlighted with plentiful brushed aluminum trim, features glove soft Ultraleather bucket seating, and German square weave carpeting. The engine is a 468 CID big block V8 that has been masterfully detailed with sculptured shrouds under the cowl induction hood. A mellow Flowmaster exhaust system includes HPC coated headers and 2 � exhaust piping side ported ahead of the rear wheels. The power plant in this car is mated to the 700R4 overdrive transmission with a 3500 rpm stall converter delivers instant acceleration and great cruising economy. Improvements dont stop with the GO parts, though. Big Baer drilled and slotted disk brakes fore and aft ensure smooth, positive stops. Originally equipped with an Intelli-Ride air bag suspension system, the Impala now has lowered conventional suspension. The concealed air tank remains behind the rear seats should someone wish to reinstall air bagging. This car has color matched powder coated and polished 18 inch Intro rims up front and 20 inch wheels at the business end, surrounded by new high performance radial tires. The ample cooling system includes an aluminum radiator, stainless fan blades and an electric fan. The Vintage air conditioning is ported through the dash and custom console to keep passengers cool and happy. The car has a new wiring harness, AutoMeter instruments, Alpine AM/FM/CD sound system with dual antennae, polished tilt steering column and color coordinated steering wheel, custom crafted full length center console.
