Back on the market after a previous pending offer failed to close. 62 Chevy Impala, 2 door hardtop, 6 cyl, 235 CI, 3 speed manual transmission, column shift. Owner is second family owner with 70,650 total miles. Interior is about a 7 and the exterior is about a 7 as well. No wreck damage, body is in good shape with only minor hangar rash and minor rust, but not serious. This is a totally original Impala with no modifications, currently licensed and running on new rubber and exhaust system, battery, ignition parts, and clean carburetor. The glass is all original and good, with one minor scratch on passenger side from windshield wiper blade. New heater core and rebuilt original radiator. Heres a list of recent repairs to make it more road worthy: 1. New Battery On the subject of rust, I will answer, and photograph any concerns you have. I have attached in this email the details. In general, the body panels, doors, rockers, and floorboards have no rust. The underside has one issue on the right side where the sheet metal crossmember was packed with dirt and the end rusted out as shown in pic 164710. The left rear body mount shows external rust as shown in pic 164811. Pics 165005, 164937, 164926, show the hangar rash I referred to in the ad.
