Partial restoration by Lotus Cortina specialist John McCoy of Omni Tech Engineering a few years ago on a very, very original car. Recent component rebuilding and tuning by Motoring Investments for use as the owners occasional daily driver and tour car. Only being sold to make room for other bucket-list cars. This is a never rusted or crashed example of a Mk 1. Unlike the Lotus version or even the GT examples most all of these were used up by very hard use then slowly rotted away behind barns or on back alleys behind businesses. It is doubtful there is a more authentic, dialed-in, stock and correct example on this planet and one could not duplicate it for even twice the price.
