| Details: | 1962 Ford Galaxie 500. Copper exterior with beautiful chrome accents and red interior with the sweetest seat pattern Ive ever seen. This cars body and interior are completely original, never repainted or reupholstered. The seats had factory seat covers installed the day it rolled out and have not seen sun until this spring. I have never seen a Galaxie with the original interior this great nor have I seen one with this seat cover pattern and carpet in such great shape. Ive upgraded the stereo to include three Rockford 6x9 speakers (two inserted in the rear and replaced front) with a nice JVC Bluetooth receiver. Have also put all new leaf springs and shackles, then slammed it down on its knees with a 3 drop. The front coil springs were also dropped 2 to give it a nice offset low look. Its been professionally tinted with a bronze color at 35% so not to hide the cool interior but add UV protection to keep the interior as cool as it looks today. This baby is riding on four 8x18 ridler wheels with Goodyear Eagle 235/50R18 Front tires and Michelin 255/55R18 rear tires to give it a beefy look (have original Factory wheel and hub caps). When it comes to looks, she isnt missing any chrome that came on her and all of the documentation to back it. I have the original window sticker, and the original bill of sale along with the Owners Manual and proof that this is a true 3-Owner car me being the third. This is all wrapped in the original plastic bag it was packaged in from 1962. I absolutely love this car and its original aspect. A true un-bastardized pure American cruising machine. Powered by a Y-Block 292ci with an 3-speed Auto Cruis-O-Matic transmission. Also including a 110v factory plug in engine heater upgrade, with many new parts to ensure that it will run strong and run long. I have taken this car on multiple 250+ mi road trips with multiple people and she ran great. I added two period matching seat belts to the back seats to make it child friendly. She has just over 80,000 on her and runs and drives great.
