1962 Lincoln Continental for sale $49,995

This is the second time weandrsquo;ve had this car, last selling it in June 2006 at 89,115 miles. Luckily we just got it back and it now only has 90,747 miles and that is believed to be a true and accurate reading.. You can only described this car as a stunning example of what appears to be an original, although probably repainted many years ago, and not a restored example of an early Continental Convertible. The interior is spectacular with only very slight patina to the leather. The dash is also in superb condition with no sun cracks to any of the top surfaces. The instrument panel and radio area are still nice and bright and again in just great condition. The engine bay is to the same high quality and just looks original and similar to how it must have been when new. Seldom do you see one of these early cars so nice and especially if it has not under gone a thorough restoration. The original owner, a doctor, was up in the State of Washington and moved to Southern California shortly after purchasing the car. We got it last time from the fourth owner of the car with previous owners having very long term ownership. Power is from the 430 cubic inch V8, originally rated at 300 horsepower. The original AM Radio works as does the power antenna. Other equipment includes air conditioning, power windows, power seat, automatic headlight dipper and cruise control; the latter two are not operational though. Production was low for these Continentals with only 3,212 Convertibles made in 1962. All Continentals were built in Michigan at Lincolns, Wixom plant. The power convertible top is in excellent condition and White in colour. Finished in Champagne with Parchment Leather and matching toned highlights.
