Details: 1963 Buick Skylark Convertible. She was lovingly restored over the last 2 years. This car was GMs first attempt to get into the high performance market. She has a 215 ci V-8 4 barrel and produces 200 HP. This car is a completely numbers matching vehicle front to back with a rare Borg Warner Super T-10 4 speed from the factory. She (Bertha is her name) went through a ground up on frame restoration (as its a unibody). There is NO undercoating on this car. There is NO bondo on this car. It was 99.5% rust free when we started the project 2 years ago. Anything that needed repair was done in metal - no body filler. There is one small spot that was repaired by a previous owner or someone but it was not a rust repair All seam sealer was removed, replaced with fresh sealer and the car disassembled and painted. The engine and trans were fine and left alone with her original 70K mileage. The front end went through a complete overhaul including bushings, ball joints, idler arm and shocks. The same was done to the rear end. All new brake, drums and wheel cylinders were also installed on all 4 wheels. The original red leather interior which is in excellent condition was cleaned up and new door panels and carpet installed. All new convertible top and components including pump, all rubber and pads was completed as well. New tires and exhaust with a glass pack to make her noticed was done and she runs like a clock with power to spare.  have a complete pictorial showing what was done to the car and receipts for most of the replaced items. She is not perfect . didnt go through all the chrome and some minor pitting is evident as well as a small chip in the windshield (not it your line of vision) and a tiny ding in the hood (my fault) and the radio doesnt work  removed some of the gaudy chrome (which comes with the car) and think she looks 100 times better than the factory design.
Analysis: Fair Deal, 10.0% above market avg. What's this?
