1963 DODGE DART CONVERTIBLE - A survivor, car is equipped with a 225 slant six motor, torque flight push button automatic transmission, Power steering, padded dash, bucket seats. Car comes with much documentation, mostly original including some paint being original, extremely solid body and interior, relatively new power convertible top, car runs, drives and functions beautifully, very cool and iconic color combination, tan/teal really stand out! A true unmolested survivor car, turn key reliability, fun to drive, collectible joy to own. Buy with confidence! The 1963 Dart was only available with the 170 and 225 slant sixes. The 7.25 rear end was the lone axle choice. Transmissions were the A-904 Torqueflight and a three-speed manual. The 904 was shifted via push buttons on the dash, the transmission used cables to select the gear. Three trim levels were offered: the low-spec 170, the high-spec 270, and the premium GT, which was available only as a 2-door hardtop or convertible. Initial engine offerings were two sizes of the slant-six: a 170 cu in (2.8 L), 101 hp (75 kW) version was fitted as standard equipment, and a 225 cu in (3.7 L), 145 hp (108 kW) version was available for less than $50 extra |
