1963 Ford Galaxie 9-passenger Country Sedan Stationwagon. This is a 1 year only body style. This is one of the most sought after years of 9 pass ford wagons with only 22250 produced that year. Unlike the Ford Country Squire, this has no fake wood panels down the sides. But rather has the Galaxie race track trim package. Original 260 ci. 2 barrel windsor V8 rated at 164 HP. Automatic transmission. Dealer installed A/C. Electric rear window that works. Seating for 9 people with all the interior parts intact. needs front seats recovered. Car is from New Mexico and needs 3 floor pans and one door jamb dog leg due to A/C drain onto floor. Very usual for dealer installed A/C cars. Very fixable, and reproduction pieces are available. Top is completely rust free, and the drip rails are excellent. The trunk area, rockers, quarters, tailgate, doors, fenders, hood,ect are not rusty and are solid. The stainless is all there and 97% of it is in excellent condition. The glass is good. The windshield is ok but they are available. The exterior of the car has been completely professionally taken down to the bare steel and primer/sealed black to begin the minor body work needed before paint. Car runs. Needs restoration completed. Clean and clear Title.
