1963 International C1200cccc it had been sitting in a barn in Tacoma since 1980. The good: It starts, shifts and stops. All the sort of things a truck should do. It has the original BG-241 engine, Borg-Warner t-98 four speed transmission, and NP-202 divorced transfer case. The truck has just about all the original parts still attached. had the fuel tank boiled out, lined and a new VDO sender unit installed and adapted for an in-tank EFI fuel pump. The suspension is completely new with custom made with a 2 lift. The front springs are custom made with a polyurethane bushings and the rear has NOS shackles with a blend of NOS Dodge bushings and custom Chevy springs. The original axles were shot and they dont make brake drums for it any more. swapped in a rebuild rear 14 bolt axle with brand new brakes and turned drums. The front axle swap is a Dana 44 from a 1976 Chevy ¾ ton. It has the flat top outer knuckles and is ready for a high steer conversion. Its riding on 17 Chevy aluminum wheels and Toyo Open Country tires. The bad: There is a rust hole in the driver floor boards and the standard International cowl rust hole. The brakes work but Jerry-rigged the new master cylinder, 11 vacuum booster and brake lines to work It needs to be re-done before you can drive it safely on the road. had the original Holley 1904 carburetor rebuild three times by professionals and it still doesnt work right. It needs a new Holley 1904 or a Weber 32/36 Progressive swap to work correctly. And last but not least, the pinion angle for the 14 bolt rear axle needs shims to correct the driveline angle. the original engine works just fine with a new alternator, water pump, points, wires, starter, and radiator. Its close to 140 PSI across all 6 cylinders.
