Substantially restyled 1963: 4 added length and new slab-sided appearance made the cars seem larger. Bucket seats, aluminum V8 215 cid, 4-bbl. carburetor, Rockette 185hp, 230 ft-lb. torque, 4-bbl, power steering. Amazingly roomy and lightweight V-8 provides impressive performance. Inside, a richly detailed two-tone vinyl-trimmed interior with front bucket seats was standard. 12,149 Cutlass convertibles were produced for the 1963 model year (out of 53,492 total Cutlasses). What lacks: top, wiper motor, working fuel gauge, and working radio. Offered at $9,200. |
