| Details: | 1964 Chevrolet Malibu El Camino! 283 CI engine with a BRAND NEW-REBUILT 2-speed automatic power-glide transmission, new U-joints, 137,000 miles -- a new motor was installed right before we bought the car 20 to 25 years ago and we were told it was new at that time. We have no paper work on that; however it runs and drives great. Current owner has had the car for about 20 to 25 years. For the last 5 years the car was in storage. Over the last 15 to 20 years the car was only driven about 5,000 miles and was also painted. Today the car has no door dings and paint is in great shape. The chrome and trim is also in very good shape. Because the car sat for so long we pulled the gas tank out and had it cleaned. We also install a new gas level sensor while the tank was out. Seat is out of a 1987 Buick. We also installed new brakes shoes, power assisted brakes, master cylinder, and wheel cylinders as well. New tires and shocks, new wiper switch, new rear view mirror on drivers door, new fuel pump, new heater switch, new heater fan motor, new head light switch, new ignition switch, new battery and cables, power steering, new washer bottle, new dash bezel, and new door locks. Because this is a much newer motor than the 283 it came with this one has electronic ignition and a brand new rebuilt 2 barrel carburetor. Along with dual exhaust with new chrome tips and one new muffler! Sounds great and runs great! White exterior/red interior and matching red cloth seats, power steering, drum brakes. Solid floors and frame with clean under carriage. Clear Title in hand; same owner since 1990s! |
