The popularity of the Chevelle series has grown steadily over the years and now there is a renewed interest in the early models. The 1964 Chevelle was the first in Chevrolets intermediate series designed to fill the gap between the Chevy II and the full sized Impala. This top of the line Malibu series convertible is powered by a JD code 283 C.I. V8 mated to an automatic transmission. Many of the options presented here (15 rally wheels, dual exhaust system and a cloth Stayfast convertible top) were added during restoration.
