STK 2153 1964 Ford Galaxie 500 The Ford Galaxie 500 was the top trim level for the 64 Ford and included all of the Custom trimand#44; plus chrome fender frames and a full length chrome strip. Many consider the 1964 500 model to be the most attractive Galaxie ever built. All of the 1964 Fords are legendary for their racing history - drivers wheeling factory lightweight cars manufactured by Ford Motor Company exclusively for the race circuit. Racing gave these cars instant popularity that continues to this day. The current owner has coddled this low-mileage Galaxie 500 hardtop for the past 12 years. It is virtually original with the exception of a new coat of Light Blue paint that has been well maintained (custom car cover included). All of the chrome and stainless trim is in good condition.
